Quick Question.

Have you ever planned to do something in a certain way and when you got there, you completely froze and had absolutely no idea how to begin?
Well, have. Not once, or twice but quite frequently. It can be a presentation to make, starting a business, designing a program, or even asking a girl out. It can be anything. One minute, you have it all figured out, the next, everything seems to be going south.
Quick question. What do you do?

Personally, i make a tactical withdrawal and re-analyse  the situation, re-calculate my moves and come back with a bang. Sometimes, all you need to do is take a step back and take a clear look at the whole picture. This is not quitting, make no mistake. Am talking about the same kind of break that Napoleon Bonaparte took briefly before embarking on the legendary quest to conquer Europe.

Defeat is never an option unless we let it. While there so many unknowns in the equation of life, our mindset remains the biggest player in determining what we can achieve or how far we can go. Truth is, there really is no limit. I personally believe that if God who is the most powerful created us in his own image, then he granted us the power to achieve boundless possibilities. Now, while there are so many factors that determine our level of success, our mindset and perception of things is the most paramount.

Some wise guy once said, "Don't ask for what the Universe has done for you, it owes you nothing. It was here first." We often complain as to why things don't seem to be adding up despite our efforts and we forget that procrastination is what holds us back the most. With the proper mindset, all other hindrances become very minor and can easily be overcome.

My personal belief is that i will always find a way to win in the end. And this has helped me thrive from the very bottom upwards, and i continue to thrive because i believe i can do anything. Plus Jesus didn't die for me on the cross so that i could be anything less. With the proper mindset, everything will soon fall into place.
